Proud Mama

I'm not sure how or where, but somehow, in the blink of an eye, my little Ayden is all grown up.
Last night he performed his first solo concert (he's been taking voice lessons for a few months now). I wasn't really sure how it was going to go over since he won't ever sing in front of us (although his teacher SWEARS he has an amazing voice).
Y'all. When he got up there and started, you could not wipe the grin off my face. I know every parent thinks their kid is the best ever, but honestly, he was so great. I literally had tears. Tears for him facing his fear, stepping outside his comfort zone and just plain out being awesome. I am so, so proud. He may have forgotten a few of the lines, but it didn't even matter. He kept going, he was fun to watch and he smiled when he was done.
My most favorite line of the day was when he said to the teacher..."my knees are shaking." You would have never known. I love watching him grow into the man he is becoming.
